Samuel’s strength is confidence. After being a consultant in the vineyard for years, he succeeded in convincing a few people to trust him when he decided, in August 2000, to launch his production.
He sold his wine in “primeur” and promised to deliver a Tokaj Grand Liquoreux when bottled.
That’s how the company started. The aim is to produce Tokaj sweet wines the way he thinks they should be, giving the right note to each blend. “I want to be able to bottle what I want, when I want.”
