BIRTOK
A perfect wine for aperitif. Just sit down in an armchair in the middle of the vineyard up there on the hill and face the beautiful landscape… Our blend of different dűlő is made exclusively from Furmint grape on volcanic soils.
What means Birtok ?
Birtok means “domaine” in Hungarian. I now offer wines from Crus, like Szent Tamás or Határi, in limited quantities, to wine lovers who wish to understand the differences between the terroirs. Birtok is a blend of these different Crus. It’s a very representative wine of Tokaj, in bigger volumes than the Crus.
SZENT TAMÁS
The huge terroir of Mád appears here through an rainbow of aromas and complexity. Mád is one of the most important villages of the Tokaj area.
HATÁRI
Our old vineyard with 90 years old vines watches the Hungarian Plain and admires every morning the sunrise and the Oriental lights. Our grapes tell us about the strength of the volcanic soil. Seven almond trees strand on the top of the slope.
KÁSÁS
A specific plot in Olaszliszka at the end of a path, on the foothill. The terroir is very special and we are willing to discovering how the wines will express themselves.
MEGYER
Up there on the Megyer hill, facing the lovely city of Sárospatak, the plot dominates the region. A deer has settled itself in the vineyard and lives there the whole year long. The soil is red.
