This wine is a fi rst approach to understand the complexity and the very particular style of the Tokaj wines.
The Tokaji Aszú is The Great Sweet Wine of Tokaj, offering a concert of aromas, dry fruits (almonds, nuts…) and fresh fruits all together (apricot, exotic fruits), spices, and a wonderful length. „Aszú” means „dried out”. The berries are in the best years botrytised as well as dessicated by over-maturation. We try to make wines that express a great balance between good oxydation and aromatic expression.
Our fi rst vintage, the 2000, gives us the opportunity to appreciate the evolution of the Aszú wines.
